In accordance with EU regulation, a beneficiary is an operator, body or firm, whether public or private, responsible for initiating, or initiating and implementing operations.
Beneficiary categories are specified in Structural Fund Aid Announcements. They are determined according to the selection criteria defined by the Commission.
Beneficiaries, operations and the public funds allocated to operations must be published in electronic format or otherwise.
This section thus covers the beneficiaries of aid under OPs ERDF and ESF.
This will help make the use of the Funds more visible and transparent in compliance with European regulations.
