Cospedal improves management of European Funds by increasing funds allocated for Castilla-La Mancha (+43.7 million euros)


The President of the Government of Castilla-La Mancha, María Dolores Cospedal, is meeting all the commitments made during the election campaign. Amongst others, these are some of the actions carried out by the Regional Government: the Plan to Ensure Basic Social Services has been presented; the Ley de Emprendedores (Draft Bill of Entrepeneurs, Self-Employed and SMEs) is now ready for approval; the first draft for the Ley de Autoridad del Profesorado (Draft Bill of Teacher Authority) is being reviewed; a Programme to Improve the Management of European Funds.

Good administration of the ESF in Castilla-La Mancha


During the Fourth Monitoring Committee, Castilla-La Mancha was congratulated by representatives of the Spanish Ministry of Work and Immigration, the European Commission, as well as the other attendees for the good administration in developing and implementing the 2007-2013 European Social Fund Operational Programme for Castilla-La Mancha.

New conciliation grants are published


The Regional Ministry of Employment, Equality and Youth has recently published new conciliation grants.  The grants will support the Plan for the Conciliation of Work, Family and Private Life and the Plan for Growth, Consolidation and Quality in Employment 2008-2013, whose measures are linked to the 2007-2013 European Social Fund Operational Programme for Castilla-La Mancha.

The 2007-2013 ERDF Operational Programme for Castilla-La Mancha is judged by the European Commission as an example of managing and good practices for all the regions in the European Union


The Monitoring Committee of the 2007-2013 ERDF OP for Castilla-La Mancha took place in Toledo on 21 June. This annual meeting aims to analyse the operations co-financed by the ERDF in the previous year and to discuss possible difficulties that might arise during its management.

Briefs

Over 4.8 million euros invested by the ERDF in business incubators of Castilla-La Mancha to offer support to young entrepreneurs and to create jobs.

Castilla-La Mancha has one of the most important business incubator networks in Spain. A significant effort has been made by the Regional Government to implement these projects. The business incubators benefit new entrepreneurs who have seen how their capacities have grown thanks to the benefits of belonging to a business incubator. As a result, many jobs have been created.

More resources allocated to the creation of employment in the 2007-2013 ESF Operational Programme for Castilla-La Mancha

A financial modification to the 2007-2013 ESF Operational Programme for Castilla-La Mancha has been approved by the European Commission. This modification means reallocating funds to those initiatives aimed at achieving maximum efficiency of the resources allocated to the creation of employment and human resources in the region.

Seventh report on economic, social and territorial cohesion shows regions' and cities' contribution to Europe 2020

The seventh progress report on economic, social and territorial cohesion, highlighting the urban and regional dimension of the Europe 2020 strategy has just been published. Hot on the heels of the Commission's legislative proposals for cohesion policy post-2013, the report assesses how, in the context of cohesion policy, regions and cities can contribute to smart, sustainable and inclusive growth and Europe 2020 headline targets. It also measures the distance of regions from national 2020 targets proposed in the Member States.

Order of 25/02/2009 of the Regional Ministry of Education and Science, establishing the regulatory basis and calls for aid, in addition to those already granted through the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology

This order aims to stimulate the implementation of specific strategic research and development projects in Castilla-La Mancha.
